How to Knit a Summer T-Shirt
Today I am sharing with you this a very good video for a free pattern by Patons. The pattern is called FADE TO SUMMER GRADIENT KNIT T-SHIRT and you can download it for free here.
I really like this tutorial because it is explained really well with a step by step guide. Infact, Anne Weil of Flax & Twine shows us how to knit up this lovely summer t-shirt in this tutorial. I feel that she explains it so well, that anyone can do this project.
This beautiful knit t-shirt pattern, designed by Anne Weil of Flax & Twine herself, works with two shades of Patons Grace yarn to create a lovely gradient.
This is the perfect project for your first sweater or for a beginning knitter who is ready to learn some new techniques. It’s also a great way to learn knitting in the round. Once you see how simple the fade technique is, I’m sure you’ll want to add this fade technique more often.
Make this top your new go-to summer tee! Patons Grace, an ultra-soft cotton yarn used in this project are perfect for lightweight projects, this knit top is great for the warmer months. The lovely gradient transition is achieved by holding three strands of Patons Grace together and interchanging between two different shades. Complete the top with a classic ribbed border. Use these neutral shades or pick a color combination that suits your personal style.
