How to Knit the Brioche Accent Cowl (Free Pattern + Video Tutorial)
It’s Monday! A new week, and a new knitting video post to share with you all today. I hope you all have an amazing week ahead.
As we do occasionally in our posts, we’re showcasing another great knitting tutorial today, to help you expand your skills and introduce you to new projects you can create.
Today we’re featuring an online tutorial provided to us by Yarnspirations, which is a great website where you can find a lot of lovely patterns, and it is also a place where you can shop for yarn, accessories, books and more.
In this particular video we can follow expert knitter Kristen Mangus, of GoodKnit Kisses, as she talks us through the process required to knit the gorgeous two colours Brioche Accent Cowl. The pattern for this cowl, by Bernat, is available to download for free by clicking here.
This Brioche Cowl forms part of Yarnspirations’ Fall/Winter 2017 Fashion lookbook. Talk abut two-toned luxury! Brioche ribbing in Bernat Softee Chunky yarn adds a plush and cushiony feel to this gorgeous infinity cowl. Keep it neutral or play around with colour – it’s totally up to you!
This video tutorial was created by Yarnspirations.com and is hosted by Kristen, of GoodKnit Kisses. I encourage you to visit these two websites to discover various knitting patterns, kits, yarn and so much more, to help inspire your next knitting project!
I do not do videos, but would love to have the free pattern for this Brioche Accessory.
Hi Judy, the link to the free pattern is in the post above, right before the video.

Hi Erica, You can download them and print them, or view them on your computer.
Love this, but I prefer a finer gauge. How many stitches would be best if I did it in a double knit yarn please?
