33+ Free Baby Blanket Knitting Patterns

A while ago we launched out an appeal asking KnittingWomen.com visitors, and also our dear Facebook Fans, what it is they’re looking for most when is comes to knitting and patterns.
We received an overwhelming amount of feedback, mostly encouraging us to scour the web for free knitting patterns to share with you all here. In fact this will be the first of a series of new posts focusing primarily on free knitting patterns… we’ll be sharing patterns for baby items including booties and hat, but not only, so do keep an eye out for what we’ve going to post in the coming weeks.
In our first post today we’re going to be focusing on baby blankets… and with a list of 41 patterns to choose from below, you are truly spoilt for choice!
Each link will take you to the website where the free pattern is available and you’ll be able to download your baby blanket patterns. Some website might required that you register with them first to access the pattern, but I’ve only shared those requiring free registrations… so there’s no cost to you.

Was disappointed to find out there were crochet patterns as well as knit ones in your baby blankets!! Thought seeing as it was from “Knitting Women” it would just have knit patterns. Seems like most sites feel they have to include crochet as well – not fair to people who only knit!!!

Easy Basket Weave Baby Blanket is a free baby blanket pattern available on my site. You are most welcome to link to it on your site.

18th November 2014, I asked for free patterns for Premmie babies. still waiting a reply. Have just tried to get the free patterns again 9th October. no luck again. please advise.
